Fate/Zero is the prequel to Fate/Stay Night and also a very serious drama-like anime.
Nice to watch and follow but might not be everyone's cup of tea (especially for shonen fans).

I've watched the first episode of Fate/Stay Night, and it caught my interest, so, yeah. (: I think it should be ok with me.

I 2nd the MAL option. There is also a PC software that helps you auto update whatever you have watched to MAL @ MyAnimeList.net Updater Software
I wouldn't recommend using it if you are concerned about privacy though, as it sends the title of whatever you are watching over to MAL for searching if it isn't on any of your anime list.

I had a list on Anime-Planet - never updated it for 2-3 years now - but MyAnimeList seems better.

I'm currently re-watching Hatsukoi (Alternative), Hellsing Ultimate and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere

Haha, in my case there is too much time in between the episodes I watch (always busy =_=) so I only have a rough idea of what is going on each time. XD It helps to watch the first few seconds of the episode you last watched though, to refresh your memory. ^^

o.o but still... after i finish watching the anime, i tend to forget the characters name ( rmb them ONLY if they are my fav ^^). so i end up describing about their appearance to my friends and they end up telling me their name ==
