Ah, must have missed out that part then >.<
uhhh aren't all hot glue guns portable?? they can fit into a luggage anyway... :p
I listed it as general 'glue' for light packing, so bring the appropriate ones.
cyanoadhesives for super strong bond, wood glue... etc
Hmmm, I did see hot glue guns that required a power socket not too long ago; that did not sound like portable to me.
And cyanoadhesives... I guess I learnt something new today
Hot Glue Gun are suppose to be connected to the Power Socket but if I remember correctly, there are a few smaller ones (or Low Heat Glue Gun?) that runs on Batteries.
Portable or not, well in term of size, they're portable as the biggest is about the size of a large Revolver (I got both the Industrial Size from Hardware Store and smaller Crafting one from Spotlight).Just that most required to be plug into the Power Socket
Given that a number of our costumes don't have pockets, a small pouch to carry our handphone and wallet? Or at least some cash or coins in case of emergencies.

and... your point is?
Look. READ.
there are TWO lists and PEOPLE DO SHARE HOTEL ROOMS.
I'm not sure if you (a) don't have friends who want to share with you or (b) are just illiterate.
IF you had bothered to read people's posts, you would REALISE that YES people do book your so-called atas hotels and share.
I don't like repeating myself, ESPECIALLY to people who are unable to think for themselves.
THIS IS A GUIDE.
YOU MAY MODIFY IT TO YOUR NEEDS.
IF YOU ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION, USE THE FIRST LIST.
IF YOU ARE NOT, USE THE BOTTOM LIST.
I made this to HELP people, I spent TIME and EFFORT on it, I BOTHER to edit it using people's suggestions AND give them credit.
I'm no where near the level of Haldir, who makes a thread for the events for the year EVERY YEAR, but I DO NOT deserve attitude.
Frankly, you ungrateful whelp, if you think you are so smart, then go ahead and make your own recommendations and see if anyone agrees with it.
You caught me in a bad mood at a bad time.
I'm being civil right here, so don't push it, the next time, I'll really bite your head off.
Ya, these Spammers are getting more and more "clever" in advertising their sites. Some put it in their Signature while others images, and then there is those putting links inside donno-what-the-hell-they're-rambling.
One thing for sure, THANK GOD this Forum hasn't been attack with Porn Spams yet. Am a moderator at a particular Series Fan Forum and before we impose "reply to this E-Mail and state your reason for registering at our Forum" rule (or after the owner removed that featurebefore our Admin put it up again), I lost count how many times we get Porn Spam with Porn Photos put into the post or thread.
During those dark times, since am the only Moderator in this Timezone (rest are in US, UK and Sweden, and have Day Job or studying full-time in Uni), I wake up only, must delete Spam Threads/Post and have to do so like throughout the day until our Admin (in Sweden) goes online and Ban the User. Oh! And these Spammers like spam our various Threads or Sub-Forum will like 20 or more posts, up to 10 in a single existing thread, and some hours, am playing a game of I-Can-Delete-Your-Posts-Faster-Than-You-Can-Create-New-Ones!

T.T
well.. yeah...
I had to report the pornographic ads flashing all over the cosplay grouping threads...
imagine if... whole posts... were... of that... ><"
What a wonderful comprehensive list of things to bring to conventions, or anywhere you're going in costume. Around here we have a product called Liquid Stitch or something like that, which is essentially super glue for fabric. I carry that in my bag all the time for emergency outfit and costume repairs. Just an idea. If people don't have pockets and a pouch would interfere with the look, consider sewing a pocket on the inside of a skirt or pants to hold small wallets or keys.
