u need permission to print the pics in media cause the event belong to the organiser so u need thier permission to print in the media
Actually I'm not 100% sure about that either.
The only remedy that I think the organiser has is to ask you to leave the premises or at worst, take action against you for trespass. I doubt he has any right to stop you from using your photos any way you see fit.

This place closing soon, want me to buy it?maybe:-p
If you did not sign any contract or have any agreement with the organisers, you do not need any permission whatsoever do to anything you want with the photos that you take. Copyright vests in the person who took the photograph.

may i ask if the photos which i had taken on cosplay events...... does the copyright belongs entirely to me or being shared with the cosplayers too?
what if there's this scenario where the cosplayers ask for the pics which i had taken for their own use without my watermark or did not credit the contribution to me/change it to someone else....should i comply with them and allow them to do so??
thanks for taking you precious time to ans the question posted by a noob like me
upz for u gd sticky

I went for this year GCA coscon and i saw 2 photographers standing on somekind of black chair/Stood they were ksing the rest of photographers behind them.
thinking of those poor photographers behind them that want to take a good pics of the cosplayers.
this event got too many photographers.
ther should be someone enforcing these rules
