I checked this tread tonight since I'm actually finishing my second mask this very moment (Halloween party tomorrow, you see!), and then I saw your latest post! Very nice!
This one will be white all over, including the hair! A creepy little ghost! And I've prepared a full costume! I can post some pictures of it next week, if I'm not too bussy with school, hehe.
I started the whole process from the beginning again (including sculpting a new headform, which, in my opinion, turned out better than the first one I made!) for this second mask! And I really enjoy working with it!

Wow sweet onryo,
Your work are not getting discussed in the right place man, this is only an introduction thread.
There is a forum dedicated to kigurumi cosplay and it welcomes things like your kig mask making intermediate steps the most.
Hurry up and post there and show us some progress images.
And you can see progress images by other people as well.
One text message in 6 months is so poor thing, go kigurumicosplay.com/social
Wanna see some demo pics from you~

hi wyu. i had another question i was wondering if you could help me out with? i was wondering if they make male styrofoam heads that have open mouths so you could make a open mouth kig mask. or is there some special way to make an open mouth kigurumi mask?

The styrofoam head has absolutely nothing to do with the style of your mask.
If possible, you would want a fat man's head as the core, as the bigger the core you use is, the less clay you have to build up for bulk.
The clay would be very thick around the entire styrofoam head. None of the features of the foam head matters anyway.
Sculpt your own mouth in the clay once the bulk has been established.
If you want to discuss about kigurumi mask making in detail, please head to the kigurumi cosplay social hub. All the masters can help you there.

You really need to ask in the related forums for this.
I haven't done it myself so I can't help you with much.
You can ask in the kigurumicosplay.com forums and since there are many kiggers who are fursuiters themselves, they may be able to point u to the right people to ask.
