Default Has anyone been feeling apathy for a severe amount of time?

    Apathy means:noun: apathy

    • lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern.

What happens if you experience generalized apathy in a severe amount of time?

I mean, I've been feeling like a plastic bag for a year.
    How do I stop this?

Thanks, but I've tried your suggestion and it seems that it only works for a while and doesn't really last that long. ._.

Haven't been on here in forever, so idk what's the take on necroing a thread that's only a month old but like:

Hi, I have no idea who you are or how old you are or whatever the hell, but I think you're either stuck in a rut or depressed, or something else I have no idea about.

If you're just stuck in a rut, imo you should just keep trying new things, in order to keep things interesting. Sure it might get a little old after awhile, I don't just mean new food and games or whatever, but maybe try taking new routes to work/school/home, talk to people you wouldn't normally talk to (strangers/old friends), or pick up new hobbies. You probably need some kind of lasting change in your life, so go forth and conquer!

Otherwise, if you find yourself actually bordering depression, you could see a psych or talk to somebody close to you, or hell even just somebody who's willing to sit and listen with an open mind.

Either way, you can't do without introspection, keep asking yourself questions about why you feel how you feel and ponder about it. You may not be able to come up with any good answers immediately, but as long as you find some kind of direction, you're good to go.

Bonus point: Exercise will be able to give you motivation for life, but you got to have motivation to exercise first, so it's something that will work, if you're willing to stick around and go through with it.

Idk if you'll see this, but eh, whatever.
