as you guys have know LunaticHarmony had created a thread on digital art tutorials, and since i had already made a thread on pressure-sensitive tablets, here's my take on a list of links/stuffs collected through years of surfing, surfing and surfing the net.


this thread might constantly be updated, edited, and cross-referanced from other threads in this section.

as you guys might have knew or even used softwares or apps like Photoshop,
Corel Painter or Painttool SAI (my favourite!), they are good, the only downside
is the 1st two are expensive (and the latest versions are always quite resource hungry)
and SAI is considered a deadware (no development since thelate 2000s).
and of cause, for students, amateurs and enthusists, you don't have the monies to buy the 1st two.

thankfully, there are free (legally) alternatives that you can use to create drawings
and paintings digitally. the only things you need to really spend money on is a computer
or laptop (duh!), pressure-sensitive tablets (double duh!), and lots of energy giving food
and drinks to last you through the long let's-just-sit-here-and-draw/paint-the-whole-day-awaysessions.
