Purple cancels out yellow. If your dark eye circles appear to be purplish, use a yellowish concealer.

Use a good concealer and apply it in a triangle under your eye (one line across the bottom of your eye, one line down the side of your nose, and one line to join the two you've just drawn). It'll help to conceal the dark eye circles and give you an instant eye lift (if you don't believe me, you can try it on one eye and see the effect). Of course, you can go to Youtube and look for tutorials which show you how to conceal eye bags and dark eye circles.

    Make up wise:
You need a good concealer and perhaps more upper eye make up. But do be aware that concealer may not cover up the physical bags! I have this problem too.

    Long term:
    Yes, rest of course
Eye bags are caused by water retention, and dark circles are actually stressed out capillaries and skin. UNFORTUNATELY, based on what I know, to get rid of dark circles, I key is to moisturise and treat it, but that will exacerbate the eye bags.
To treat eye bags, the common over the counter methods actually dry out your eyes (example, Garnier's caffeine roll-on treatment), this in turn, causes dark circles.

Point is, it's a hard battle to fight, you can only fight one sign. Best way is still rest, and maybe cucumbers over the eyes may help.

Just my two cents, I understand how hard is it to come by a night of quality sleep!
The iSeb is here, and READY TO ORDER.

    Agrees with those above.

You can only make eyebags look less obvious with concealer. Panda eyes wise, you can pretty much hide them. I have terrible panda eyes, some people think i put eyeshadow everyday. Remember, do not cake on a huge layer of concealer. Work in layers.
Concealer, foundation, concealer, foundation, repeat. And when you get a concealer, get a tone lighter than that of your skin. (btw, I use ZA concealer. )
Yeps, youtube is really helpful. Good luck!

Thanks for all the lengthy advice! New to sgcafe and stuff so.. I dunno how to express my gratitude>< Anyway, I bought a ZA concealer as well recently.. And I tried using it using BB cream -> concealer -> liquid foundation -> powder foundation(as from all the other makeup threads and youtube) but there are still streaks of purple and black:X so I guess will be trying out the advice from EnmaAi and fishie soon.. Thanks!
