Any Cosplay or Related Events in Tokyo in December?

I'll be making a trip to Tokyo this December.

Does anyone know if there's any cosplay related events occuring about that time? This will help me decide which days to go

Wah from the links in that thread and other wiki links; it seems to be a big battle to go in!! And an even bigger battle to stay alive inside!!

Have you went before? Is it as bad as the article and links say?

Its a tough thing to get into Comiket lol!!!!!
EVeryone gets up like 5am in the morning to make their way there...
You go there at 8am in the morning and Tokyo Big Site STATION is PACKED until cannot breathe!!!

But its good going...... VERY NICE CONVENTION!!!!

Its going to be SUPER cold during winter But its going to be good if you want to cosplay - won't be too sweaty!!

Aiyo, the way you all say, confirm not tourist friendly liao man But I read one link which says its okay to go in the afternoon when crowds subside. Is this true? Considering that I'm not that hardcore and just going there to look see look see, would this be a viable option?

not really true...because it ends around 3-4 afternoon and people start going off around 12-2 and you can see humans rushing out of the trains...repeating the same action the whole day.

not consider a good...event to go for cosplay but if you are a doujinshi freak and you want to get the latest doujinshi faster you can go.
but then you'll still need to camp like 3 or 4 days before the event starts, (especially male otakus)since there's already people lining up to be the 1st to rush in.

I'm sure there's other events for cosplay during December.
