Is it weird to wear a non-black/brown/blonde wig with normal clothes?

Heyys,

Yea, was wondering if it's weird to wear a coloured wig with norm clothes to a cosplay event. I mean, would people look at me and go "omg, cosf**k"?

I planned to cosplay as Touya Rima tomorrow, but because my wig screwed up (was sent the wrong wig last minute, and it's almost impossible to salvage it.), so I decided to go for AFA in my usual, old, waloli. (T^T)

The wig I received is Orange-red, with 2 super DUPER long extensions that are more than 1m long. Looks pretty much like a miku wig, bit the colour is totally off, and I've yet to see a miku version with this coloured hair... or any char with this coloured hair and hairstyle.

Please help! I don't want to wear the wig tomorrow and end up being looked down upon... T.T

P.S.: Does anyone have any idea what I should do with the wig? I mean, should I sell it? Dye it and use it for another cosplay (that means abandoning my Rima plans... T.T)? Help!!! T.T

Hmm... okay, I'll give it a shot... Are you all going tomorrow? If you see me (It'd be quite obvious who I am...) and find it weird, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me, k?

As I've said, my wig's very noticable, orange-red, and I'm wearing a red+black waloli. A lot of people have the same waloli, so it's a very normal looking one.

But seriously, I'm just worried that people look at me and roll their eyes at me or something. T.T I'd feel so 冤枉! T.T
