J-Obsession is back again for its 5th year running!

From 28th to 30th March 2014, be expecting the return of the Cosplay competition with fabulous prizes and J-music performed by our local J-Music Bands!

Overseas Cosplay Guest:
For the first time ever, J-Obsession will be bringing an overseas cosplay guest. Stay tuned for details on our mystery guest and the activities we have planned!

Cosplay Competition:
The ever popular J-Obsession Cosplay Competition is back!

Open Category Cosplay Talent Competition on 29th March 2014:

As with previous years competitions, show us your talents while cosplaying as your favorite character. Dazzle the judges with your singing talents or do a skit to stand a chance to win attractive prizes.

[Open Category Cosplay Talent Competition Requirements & Information:]
- Any genre (non explicit & offending in nature)
- Be in character & costume
- Solo & Team entries accepted, however there are no separate prizes
- Max. 5 Minute of freestyle Stage time for each participant to convince the judges (Skit / Singing / Dance/ Voice Acting/ non violent & offending please)
- Be on time for your allocated slot
- The judging criteria for this event will be on:
-Costume Craftsmanship & Accuracy
-Performance
-Crowd Impact
--Please note that for safety reasons, no fire, water, powder and confetti effects are allowed. If you are unsure, do check with us first.

There will be total of 10 Prizes to be won, plus a special category prize which we will announce soon. (Prizes details will be coming soon)

How to Participate?

-Character you will be cosplaying
-What you are going to do on stage (in as much detail as possible)
- A few pictures/videos of your recent Cosplay attempt (In the event of overwhelming response, only 16 cosplayers will be selected by this criteria, so please send in good materials!)

Band Performances/Solo/Groups:
We are also looking for local J-Bands/Solo/Groups to perform at J-Obsession 2014.

Introducing this year's J-ob's guest from Japan!

Naoya (尚也）!


Naoya is a very popular cosplayer and good at cool-sexy young characters.
Not only does she look good in photos but here stage performance is also not to be missed, a great amount of fan girls can always been seen at events she attends.

As described by her team mates:

“She is an indispensable cosplayer to a big event or cosplay TV programs.

Although she is usually shy and being carried out gently, on a stage, turned smartly suddenly.
Please see the gap in her talk and performance.”

Although she has been a guest for events in Australia and America, this will be her first time in Singapore, so let give her our warmest welcome and support!
