    A) Fundamentals of 3d Animation
    Course Duration: (36 hrs) 3hrs per session

    Fees At Subsidized Rate: S$200

    Entry Requirements: Beginners or Animation Enthusiasts who have interest in 3D animation but have some experience with 3D software packages.

    Course Outline:
    To give an overview of the principles of animation and why they are essential. The most basic principles out of the 12 will then be used and applied to the exercises which follow in the subsequent lessons.

    High-Res 3D-Digital Sculpting (Mudbox)
    Duration : (24 hrs) 3hrs per session

    Fees At Subsidized Rate: S$150

    Entry Requirements: Intermediate 3D experience. Polygonal Modelling and UVW mapping skills.

    Course Outline: Participants will learn to create highly detailed organic models using Mesh-Displacement maps rendered with Mental Ray. The course will introduce Mudbox, a digital sculpting and texture painting software, founded by former artists of Weta Digital, where it was first used to produce the 2005 Peter Jackson remake of King Kong. Work with tools such as brushes, stamps, and stencils to quickly sculpt and create lifelike textures.

    Participants will be taught Model preparation, User Interface, Sculpting,Texture Painting and Assignment Layers, Workflow, Connectivity and Integration with professional 3D software.

    C) Life Drawings
    Duration : (18hrs) 3 hrs per session

    Entry Requirements: Art Student and Professional Artists who has worked in the art related field. Participants need to show evidence of past life drawing experience.

    Course Outline : This class has no coaching. It is meant to create a space for artist to interact and exchange knowledge. And sharpening their skill in posing and understanding of the human anatomical structure.

    D) Photoshop Essentials
    Duration: (6hrs) 3 hrs per session

    Entry Requirements: Open to all

    Course Outline: Participants will be taught the basic usage of Photoshop, a little beyond what we typically see in a software course. After a brief technical introduction, students will learn the most popular uses for Photoshop : color correction, photo restoration/manipulation, comps, etc. All of the most useful and commonly used tools in Photoshop will be covered. The class will also include a short segment on preparing images for print or display on the web.

    Program Fees
    Program fees are kept at a subsidized rate of S$800. For those with financial problems, we are open to instalment payment plan, subject to review and approval of your financial status.


    Program Duration: 6 months

    There are 2 intakes coming up. One at the end of August and another in mid Sept. (Exact dates will be annouced soon)


    i) Aug/Sept Intake (Day Class)

    Schedule:
    (Mon to Fri) 9am to 5pm

    3 hrs a week are dedicated for life drawing
    8 hrs a week are dedicated for lectures for 3d subjects

    In total, there are 11 hrs of lectures per week.
    (Lectures are scheduled from 2pm onwards.)

    For the rest of the hours, you can use the school facilities to work on your assignments.
    (Generally you will have more time for your practical exercises than the night classes.)



    ii) September Intake (Night Class)

    Schedule:

    Thurs Night: Life Drawings 7pm to 10pm (3hrs)
    Wed Night: Lectures 7pm to 10pm (3hrs)
    Sat Day: Lectures 9:30pm to 3:30pm (5hrs)

    3 hrs a week are dedicated for life drawings
    8 hrs a week are dedicated for lectures for 3d subjects

    In total, there are 11 hrs of lectures per week.
    This will allow you to continue to work in the day to support yourself financially.
